Sold 200 shares of NFLX at $16.25 (bought at $12.25) after they announced their 1M'th subscriber today, for a 33% gain (closer to 50%+ annualized). I will absolutely buy back in at a lower price point.

Richard Wolpert sighting at Ranah Edelin's company
A friend of mine from PointCast, Ranah Edelin, has been at Listen.com for many years; he's currently VP of Biz Dev. They've been shopping for cash fairly desperately, and have just landed funding from RealNetworks. Lo and behold, Richard Wolpert (who I really only know /of/ via Deeje, Ando, Opie and the rest of my buds from ACD) gets the quote on the financing, LOL!

i was describing my ideas around an in-car mp3 solution (interface, etc) to diana a few weeks back. just read about these guys in the la times today. they haven't taken it nearly as far as it needs to go, but it is an interesting start.
wonder if i can just get a line-out of an iPod into the kenwood head unit?!
yahoo failed me...
used it to send a valentine's day greeting to diana on v-day morning. as of this am, my greeting still hadn't arrived in her inbox.
such a simple thing... such a negative experience.

damn, over 2 mths since i've blogged. so much has happened.
living in LA with diana now, the beautiful young lady that i'm dating.
just started a consulting engagement w/ overture out in pasadena after turning down a FT position with netflix in los gatos. tough decision, but it gets me to sunny soCal and gives me a lot more time with di, and for the first time, i feel like i'm focused on the RIGHT priorities.
prior to all this, was vacationing and chillin out in miami & the keys, san diego, LA, joshua tree & tahoe. can't wait to get some more play time in once i get a little more settled at OVER.
