Well, I'm late to the party, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention it.

JD Lassica emailed me (via mailing list) on Monday to inform me that his brain child (along with partner Marc Canter and a dedicated cast of hundreds of volunteers), Ourmedia.org, has launched.

The trend toward increased self-expression continues to grow as new tools and technologies make creation and distribution easier, richer and more cost-effective. (Here's an example -- via Scoble). Ourmedia plays to the heart of this trend, and does so with what seem like the best of intentions. Congrats again to all involve.
