Q: How do you see social software relating to the long tail?

As it pertains to the long tail, social software enables:

1. Awareness
2. Co-operative (inter)action
3. Confidence (i.e., confident (inter)action)


Q: What benefits are to obtained from tapping in to the less popular end of the spectrum?

1. Uniqueness/Differentiation
2. Information leading to Advanage (or alternative specific desired Benefit)
